Front cover photographs;

This is the image that I have took for the front cover of the magazine, it is a medium close up and follows certain aspects of mise en scene through the black T-shirt and the denim jacket indicative of the genre.
















The final image that I have used on the front cover of the magazine has been edited on Photoshop to get rid of the background using the magic wand tool as well as the lasso tool to edit around other background that was not edited out.



















Contents Page;


This image was used on the contents page, that was took at a live 1975 gig, the picture was used with a caption to the article and is typical of the music magazine genre and fits in with the themes well, I also edited it into black and white in order to fit in with the themes of the magazine.

















This was an image used referring to the band that I have featured on the double page spread. The picture was also edited into black and white like the previous image to carry on the continuous theme of the magazine and also the contents page.














This was an image that I took of a ticket that people could win in a ticket giveaway competition I focused the image at the forefront and distorted at the back to give it more of an effect and fit in with the distorted text of the page.







This was another image that I used on the contents page that was something people could win. I is a iTunes voucher and felt like a cool image to include.













Double Page Spread:

 This is the image that I have used in the double page spread, the image follows elements of mise en scene through the arctic monkeys T shirt and festival wrist band as well as that the dark colours and pose of the model is remnant of the conventions and themes being employed.

This is the image edited adding in a black and white filter so that it looks good on the page and fits in with the whole page.
